Frances Arlene Johnson, 87, of North Platte, NE, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, August 31, 2015, at the North Platte Care Center.

Frances was born July 10, 1928, to John and Edith Maude Bobbio Peterson at North Platte where she grew up. She graduated from North Platte High School in 1946.

Frances was united in marriage to Robert Fay Johnson on her birthday, July 10, 1946, at Junction City, KS and they made their home in North Platte. Frances and Bob loved to travel. After he passed away she met Kris Krzycki and they too continued traveling. She was full of love for her family and enjoyed her large collection of angels. Frances had a strong faith in God and was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

She will be greatly missed by her family which includes her three wonderful daughters, Sharen ‘Shar’ (Gerry) Berglund and Cindy (Spike) Haddock, of North Platte and Becky (Ted) Dreyer, of Portland, OR; daughter-in-law, Ronda Johnson, of Frisco, TX; her special friend and companion, Kris Krzycki, of North Platte; seven grandchildren, Dusty Bockus, Heather (Johnny) Hupfer, Nate Bockus, Alison (Rich) Wiegard, Ben (Kristie) Johnson, Nealie (Jon) Krzycki and Jake Berglund; 12 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Jamaica, Irie, Maxx, Elliott, Chloe, Will, Wyatt, Skyler, Zyah, Cash and John Ryan; and other family.

Along with her husband, Bob, Frances was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Johnson; and parents, John and Maude Peterson.

Cremation was chosen. Graveside Memorial Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015, in Fort McPherson National Cemetery with Father Jim Golka officiating.
