Frederick Lee Nabry, age 65 of North Platte passed away Friday October 16, 2015 in Denver, CO.
Fred was born on January 12, 1950 in Greenwood, MS to Otha and Margree (Wilson) Nabry. He attended North Platte High School where he was a stellar athlete in baseball, basketball, football and track. After high school worked for Sparrow Roofing Company until his health forced him to retire. He loved sports, especially the Chicago Bull, telling jokes and spending time with his family.
Fred is survived by his mother Margree Nabry of North Platte; children Stacia Towne of South Carolina, Sharee Talbot of Denver, CO and Fred Anthony Branscom of Mosby, MO; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and siblings Mary Corine (Benjamin) Perkins of Lincoln, Savannah Sellers of North Platte, half sister Sara Thiem of Lincoln, NE; special family members Martin (Kim) Sellers and Willie Sellers all of North Platte; as well as numerous other family members and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; and 2 sisters Ernestine and Juanita “Nina”.
Memorials are suggested in his name. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Harvest Christian Fellowship with Pastor Jacob Rahrig officiating. Inurnment will be in the North Platte Cemetery.
