Huskers Ranked 10th in Preseason Coaches Poll

The Nebraska wrestling team earned the No. 10 ranking in the first USA Today/NWCA Division I Coaches Poll for this season, released on Tuesday.

The Huskers return All-American TJ Dudley (184) and six additional NCAA qualifiers from last season. Senior Jake Sueflohn (149), who missed last season with an injury, is a three-time NCAA Championships qualifier.

NU opens its 2015-16 campaign on Sunday at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open in Brookings, S.D. The Huskers’ first home dual is set for Sunday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. (CT) against Wyoming at the Devaney Center.

The USA Today/NWCA Division I Coaches Poll will be released on Tuesdays during the college wrestling season with no poll being released on December 28.
