Lucille W. Cosler, 98, of North Platte, passed away November 10, 2015 at Great Plains Health. She was born March 13, 1917 to Frank M. and Minnie E. (Rich) Anderson at Gothenburg. She graduated from Gothenburg High School. She was united in marriage to Edwin Cosler in Grand Island. They lived in Hershey for many years before moving to North Platte. Lucille managed numerous restaurants in the area and was a hostess at Circle C South. Lucille was involved with the North Platte Canteen from the start. She loved being around people and was an avid reader. Lucille is survived by her children, Larry (Ruth) Cosler , Ed Cosler, Jr. , James (Phyllis) Cosler, Debbie (Joe) DeVencenty and Vicki Bonjour; grandchildren, Lori (Mike) Aylward, Brian Cosler, Rex (Deb) Cosler, John (Amanda) Cosler and Joshua (Misty) Cosler; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1990; an infant brother; two brothers, Miles and Clayton Anderson; and an infant grandson. A memorial has been established in her memory. Memorial graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell with the Reverend Douglas A. Delp officiating. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
