LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Lawmakers are looking for new ways to draw national and international tourists to Nebraska.
The Legislature’s Appropriations Committee will hold a hearing Tuesday at the Capitol to discuss funding options for state tourism sites.
The hearing will explore what other states have done to attract more tourists and promote economic development. Senators also want to see which tourism sites provide the biggest economic benefit to the state.
The hearing is part of a legislative study introduced by Sen. Adam Morfeld of Lincoln.
