Teddi Laurie (Joedeman) Hathaway, beloved wife, mother, sister, Aunt and friend, died in her home, surrounded by family, after a long courageous battle against Breast Cancer, Heart failure, and COPD, December 6th 2015.
Teddi was born in North Platte Nebraska, October 16th, 1961 to Harold and Mary (Halouska) Joedeman. She graduated from Stapleton Ne High School in 1980. After visiting her brother in the Air Force in Minot North Dakota, she met and married the love of her life, Wayne Hathaway, January 10th 1981 at Maranatha Bible Camp. To this union a beautiful daughter was born, Lindsey Ann (Hathaway) Lash. Wayne and Tedd were married 34 wonderful years.
She was preceded in death by nephews Christopher Joedeman, and Jerry Ohzourk, sister, Mary (Joedeman) Ewoldt, cousin Stanley Burnside, father-in -law Fredrick E. Hathaway, and many Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles. Tedd was a caring and loving Mother and Aunt. She was known as the crazy cat woman because of her love of cats.
She leaves behind her Husband, Wayne of rural Burr Nebraska, and daughter, Lindsey and son-in-law Kyle of Seward Nebraska.
Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Gandy Community Bible Church in Gandy, NE. Burial will be at the McCain Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 pm Friday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8pm at Carpenter Memorial Chapel in North Platte. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com.
