Joseph “Joe” Elwood Inlow, age 60 of North Platte, passed away December 4, 2015 at his home.
Joe was born on January 7, 1955 at St. Mary’s Hospital in North Platte to Gary E. and Joanne L. (Piper) Inlow. He attended school in North Platte, graduating from St. Patrick’s High School with the class of 1973. He enlisted in the Air Force in September of 1975, but accepted an honorable discharge due to a medical condition. He worked for the North Platte Mall in the maintenance department for 39 years and after that, was employed by Green Meadows Golf Course. Joe was a kindhearted man, a dedicated worker, an avid reader and he enjoyed viewing and collecting good movies. Those who knew him will miss his gentle manner and pleasant smile.
Joe is survived by his mother Joanne L. Bollish; two brothers Bob Inlow of North Platte and Jeff (Yvy) Inlow of Oklahoma; sister Lisa (Sam) Cordonier of Seward, NE; several nephews, nieces and numerous cousins; as well as his best friends Richard and Sharon Skinner and his pal Bucky.
He was preceded in death by his father Gary E. Inlow; and grandparents Stuart and Frances Piper, and Joseph and Marie Inlow.
Memorials are suggested in his name and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com. Christian Wake Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday December 9, 2015 with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:30 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Reverend Mark Seiker as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday December 8, 2015. Those wishing to do so may sign the register book from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday December 8, 2015 at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
