WILCOX, Neb. (AP) — A 17-year-old has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in southern Nebraska.

The Phelps County Sheriff’s Office says Parker Sturgis was driving Tuesday morning on a road between Wilcox and Atlanta when the car hit a culvert.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Jamie Tilson says the car rolled several times and Sturgis, of Wilcox, was ejected. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
