SOUTH YANKTON, Neb. (AP) — Authorities have identified a man who died in a mobile home fire in northeast Nebraska.
The Cedar County Sheriff’s Office on Friday said 70-year-old Daniel Leader, of Crofton, died in the fire. Leader died of smoke inhalation.
Firefighters were dispatched around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday to the mobile home about three miles south of South Yankton.
Sheriff Larry Koranda said in a statement that Leader was found and pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
