OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Police say they have identified a man found dead in his north Omaha home and have arrested a suspect in the case.
The Omaha Police Department said in a news release Monday that they were called to the home Monday to check on the well-being of a person. Officers arrived and found 71-year-old Merlin Prinz dead.
Authorities say they arrested a 61-year-old man on suspicion of first-degree murder and use of a weapon by a prohibited person. Police say there are no other suspects in the case.
