NPCC Lady Knights Volleyball Players Move on to Next Level

North Platte – Valerie Most and Aryn Meisinger, North Platte Community College Lady Knights Volleyball players for the past two seasons signed national letters of intent to continue their volleyball careers at four-year colleges.

Most, a sophomore outside hitter from Brady signed to play volleyball at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kan.  Kansas Wesleyan is a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics college.

“The coaches told Coach Hopping that they were looking for an outside hitter.  I filled out their recruiting information and they contacted me about five minutes later.” Most said.  “I went down and visited over spring break and liked it.”

Most led the Lady Knights in kills this past season with 375 kills, kills per set at 3.0, hitting percentage at .202. Most also had 59 service aces. Most is 12th on the all-time Lady Knights kill chart with 700 kills.

Most was an All-Region, All Tournament, and All-NCCAC selection this past season

Meisinger, a sophomore setter from Gothenburg, has signed to play volleyball at Coe College in Cedar Rapids.  Coe College is a National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III college.

“The assistant coach (Joe Adams) is a nephew of my high school coach and recruited me hard when he was at Nebraska Wesleyan.” Meisinger said.

Meisinger led the Lady Knights in service aces during the 2015 season with 65 aces.  Meisinger, in her career had 117 service aces.  That total is tied for fifth all-time on the Lady Knights aces list.

Meisinger also had 323 defensive digs and 143 set assists during her sophomore season.
