HASTINGS, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say an 18-year-old driver has died after crashing into a tree in Hastings.

Hastings police say the accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Monday when a vehicle driven by Joshua Hedlund ran off 12th Street and struck the tree. Three passengers with him were injured.

The crash is being investigated.
