LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Authorities have arrested two men and seized 7.5 pounds of methamphetamine found in their car after a traffic stop on the west side of Lincoln.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over the car around 9:30 a.m. Thursday on Interstate 80. The deputy reported that he grew suspicious and asked for permission to search the car. The driver consented, and deputies later found the meth in 10 packages hidden inside the liner of a cooler in the car trunk.

The men were arrested on suspicion of possession for sale. Court records don’t show that they’ve been formally charged yet.
