A traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Seward County led to the seizure of 198.4 lbs. of marijuana and one arrest.

Just after3:30 p.m., Saturday, July 16, a trooper stopped an eastbound 2003 Ford F350 utility truck for speeding, failure to signal and following too close. The trooper was given consent to search the vehicle. The search led to the seizure of 198.4 lbs. of marijuana. The marijuana contained in 77 individual packages was located in both side compartments of the utility truck.

The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, Jonathan C. Snyder, (M), 44, of Jacksonville, Fla., was lodged in the Seward County Jail on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
