North Platte junior legion (22-12) had their season come to an end with a 5-2 loss to Hastings in the A7 district tournament.

North Platte got a double from Jace Rogers to start the game and he was driven in by Jacob Harvey on a ground out later in the first inning. Hastings tied it up in the bottom half of the first at 1-1.

Hasting took the lead in the bottom of the third inning with a pair of runs to go up 3-1. Hastings would add two more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to extend their lead to 5-1.

North Platte was able to get a run back in the sixth to close the gap to 5-2, but the comeback stopped there. North Platte was eliminated from the tournament with the loss.
