COZAD, Neb. (AP) — Cozad, Dawson County and state authorities are investigating the death of a 4-month-old girl.

Medics were sent to a Cozad day care around 9 a.m. Wednesday to help the unresponsive infant. Authorities say she was taken to a local hospital before being flown to an Omaha hospital, where she died that night.

Autopsy results, the child’s name and other details haven’t been released.
