Anita was born August 9, 1936, to Simon D. and Esmerejila Del Toro Cuellar in Derby, TX. She grew up and went to school in Pearsall, TX and helped her father raise watermelons and peanuts on the family farm. In June 1982 Anita married Robert P. Fagan in Pearsall and they were married for 25 years when he passed away in 2007. Anita continued to live on the family farm until October 2013 when her family moved her to Hershey.

Anita was a member of the Pearsall Church of Christ. She enjoyed going to the Hershey Senior Center and playing Bingo there. She loved gardening, raising flowers and was a great seamstress. She also enjoyed cooking and feeding others, you never left her house hungry.

Anita was a kind, loving woman. She had many friends who looked up to her like a mom and was loved by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially looked forward to Wednesdays as “Monkey Day” because this was the day she spent with her great-grandkids. She will forever be missed.
