Nebraska’s Brooke Thomason was named the Big Ten’s Softball Player of the Week for her performance in the Huskers’ three-game sweep of Northwestern last weekend. Thomason batted .417 and drove in seven runs, four of them on a walk-off grand slam in the series opener. Her teammate, Tatum Edwards, was named the conference’s Pitcher of the Week for her complete game in the series finale.
