JONATHAN FRID DEAD AT 87: Actor Jonathan Frid has died at the age of 87. Frid was a trailblazer in the vampire genre — playing bloodsucking Barnabas Collins on ABC’s Dark Shadows from 1966 to 1971.DigitalSpy.com reported that he died from natural causes in Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. Tim Burton recently created a movie version of Dark Shadows, which is set to open on May 11.

KIM KARDASHIAN CLEARS UP MAYOR REPORTS: Kim Kardashian’s rep won’t confirm or deny the reality star’s recently expressed desire to become the mayor of Glendale, CA, a largely Armenian community. When asked about Kim’s true intentions, her publicist said, “Kim has always looked for opportunities to grow and also do what she can to help and support the Armenian community. She’s learning more about ways in which she can help to do her part to make a difference in the community.” Kim first made the comments on Khloe and Lamar, telling her sister she plans to move to Glendale and establish residency there.

NEW MAN FOR JENNY MCCARTHY? Jenny McCarthy is reportedly dating Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher. Jenny played coy when asked about the rumors, saying only, “I’m interested in someone.” When pressed if the “someone” was a football player, Jenny told reporters, “I don’t know what you guys are talking about. Um, you know, we shall see.”

RYAN O’NEAL IN PATERNITY SCANDAL: A woman claims that 70-year-old Ryan O’Neal is the father of her two-month-old baby. RadarOnline.com reported that Jessica Zellars, 35, claims she and O’Neal — who recently announced his cancer diagnosis — had a “brief romantic relationship” in early 2011 after meeting in Malibu that resulted in her pregnancy. Ryan’s rep responded, “This woman’s claim is ridiculous and false. She has been harassing and stalking Ryan. He never had a personal relationship with her. This will be the first time a woman got pregnant without having sex or in-vitro.”
