Janet Janell Schledewitz

Janet Janell Schledewitz, 44 of North Platte passed away unexpectedly March 10, 2019 at her home.

Janet was born on June 28, 1974 in North Platte to John and Donna (Smidt) Schledewitz.

She attended school in Maxwell, graduating from Maxwell High School.   Janet worked at McDonalds and was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church.  Janet loved the simple things in life, fishing, spending time outdoors, playing pool, game nights with the family, and spending time with her  niece, nephews and their children. Janet was a very loving, kind hearted, and generous person who was  always there to help some one in need. You knew she was having a good time when you heard her deep soulful laugh.

Survivors include her parents, John and Donna Schledewitz of Maxwell; siblings, Jill (Jim) Falcon of Maxwell, Johnny Schledewitz of North Platte; niece, Jalissa Falcon of North Platte; nephews, Jimmy (Karsen) Falcon of North Platteand Justin Falcon of Maxwell; great-nieces, Avery, Madelyn, Greah; and great-nephew, Jameson; aunts and uncles, Larry (Sue) Schledewitz of Maxwell, Joann Rosse of Lincoln, Art (Betty) Smidt of Glenville, and Sharon (Clyde) Hohlfeldt of Holstein; numerous cousins,  extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Memorials are suggested to the North Platte Special Olympics or to the North Platte Animal Shelter.  Online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com.

Cremation was chosen and memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Reverend Arnold Flater officiating.  Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery near Maxwell.

Those wishing to sign the register book may do so 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements. Lunch at First Evangelical Lutheran Church  following burial.
