KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) — A 2-year-old girl has been found walking alone in Kearney’s Harmon Park.

The local media reports that a woman told police that she found the girl around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police returned the little girl to her home about a block away and cited her mother for misdemeanor child abuse. Police say officers have had other contact with the woman about allowing her child to wander unsupervised.
