CLAY CENTER, Neb. (AP) — A 38-year-old Sutton man has been given two to four years in prison after making a plea deal.
The Hastings Tribune says Ebenezer Okyere pleaded guilty to criminal possession of four or more financial transaction devices. In return, prosecutors dropped theft and two more charges.
Okyere, also known as Ebenezer Christ, is a native of Ghana who moved to this country in May 2011. He’ll be deported after he leaves Nebraska custody.
The Sutton Police Department arrested Okyere in December to face allegations that he had been using stolen credit card data to make online purchases.
