NORTH PLATTE (North Platte Police Department)- On 06/12/12 an officer from the North Platte Police Department responded to the area of 500 N Pacific Place on the report of a sexual assault.  The juvenile victim alleged that 29 year old male,  Schrader inappropriately touched the victim in a sexual manner on two prior occasions.  Following an investigation and interviews Schrader, a registered sex offender was placed under arrest for 2 counts of Sexual Assault-3^rd Degree 28-320, (I Mis).  He was then transported to the Lincoln County Detention Center and incarcerated.

At approximately 415 PM on 06/17/12 officers of the North Platte Police Department responded to area of the 400 block of N. Elder on the report of an assault.  The victim, Tom Cardenas alleged that the suspect and spouse, Elizabeth Cardenas had stabbed him in the back with a knife.  The victim stated that while cleaning up glass from broken window, resulting from a prior disturbance caused by an intoxicated Mrs. Cardenas approached him from behind and stabbed him with a large knife.  Injuries sustained from the incident were not life threatening and medical attention was provided at the scene.

Mrs. Cardenas was placed under arrest for Assault-2^nd Degree, 28-309 (III Fel) and transported to the Lincoln County Detention Center and jailed.
