Husker Hurler Keller to Transfer

Jon Keller

The Nebraska baseball team has lost one of their most consistent starting pitchers. Junior right-hander Jon Keller will transfer to Division II powerhouse, the University of Tampa. The native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa came to Nebraska a highly-touted prospect, having been an eleventh-round pick of the Seattle Mariners out of high school. Keller appeared in 28 games for the Huskers the last two seasons, 24 of them as a starter. He compiled a 7-7 record and a 4.40 ERA.
