The Husker women’s basketball team has finalized their non-conference schedule for the 2012-2013 season. Of the twelve opponents on the slate, seven of them appeared in postseason play last year. The marquee matchup of the non-conference schedule is a clash with Maryland at the Devaney Center on November 28. The Terrapins went to the Elite Eight last season and come to Lincoln as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Huskers will also visit a pair of NCAA Tournament teams, playing at South Dakota State November 18 and trekking to Omaha to face Creighton December 5. Other non-conference foes visiting the Husker women are Florida State, Temple, Idaho State, Oral Roberts, Northern Arizona, Sam Houston State, Grambling State and North Carolina A&T. Nebraska also has a road game against USC on the schedule as well.
