OVERTON, Neb. (AP) — A 35-year-old Kearney woman has been charged with 14 counts of theft from her employer in Dawson County.
The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office says Faith Hampton was arrested on Thursday. She also is charged with unauthorized use of a financial transaction device.
The sheriff’s office says Hampton, who also is known as Faith Rader, was investigated after Brennan Farms & Livestock, of rural Overton, reported in February that it suspected embezzlement by an employee.
A Dawson County jailer said Hampton remained in custody on Friday, pending $100,000 bail. It’s unclear whether she has an attorney. Online court records don’t list the case yet.
