Man pushing up to 11 pounds of Meth receives his sentence

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A federal judge has sentenced a Nebraska man to 14 years in prison for his role in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

U.S. Attorney Deborah Gilg  announced in a news release that 45-year-old Tony Harlan Wilson of Lincoln was sentenced Friday.

Lincoln police arrested Wilson after they found him with 4.5 grams of methamphetamine in November 2010. An informant told authorities that Wilson was responsible for distributing between 3 and 11 pounds of methamphetamine between 2008 and 2010.

Wilson must also serve five years of supervised release once his prison term ends, and forfeit $69 in cash to federal authorities.

The case was handled by the Lincoln Police Department, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department, the FBI and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Department.
