North Platte Neb. (NORTH PLATTE POST) When a family like the Walters have such an awful turn of events, it can be highly difficult to stay strong. Luckily communities surrounding support and strengthen families who are in distress.

 

Community Connections Mentoring runs many community service projects. On July 18th Community Connections Mentoring is holding a car wash to benefit MaKenna Walters, a 7- year old who is recovering from heart transplant surgery.

The car wash benefit will be at Advanced Autoparts located at 1220 South Jeffers from 5:30 to 7:30.
