LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say a Nebraska Powerball player has won $2 million.
The Nebraska Lottery says the winning ticket was sold at a Hy-Vee gas outlet in northwest Omaha.
The ticket matched five of the six numbers drawn Wednesday night but missed the Powerball number. The ticket’s $1 million prize was doubled because the ticket buyer bought the Power Play multiplier option, which was two.
Powerball officials say a ticket sold in Lapeer, Mich., matched all six numbers, winning the buyer the jackpot of $337 million. Officials say the lump sum payout would be $241 million.
