DENVER (AP) — Peyton Manning led two scoring drives but threw two more interceptions in his home debut for the Denver Broncos in a 30-10 preseason loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday night.
The Broncos turned the ball over on half of their six first-half possessions with Manning under center, including an interception in the red zone for the second straight week.
Their 2-minute drive stalled when Jacob Tamme dropped a wide-open touchdown toss with 6 seconds left in the first half.
The biggest positive for the four-time MVP who’s returning from a neck injury that sidelined him all of 2011 is that he took his first big hit in 19 months and bounced right up.
Manning shook off defensive end Bruce Irvin’s hard hit and completed a 22-yard pass on the next play.
