Sheila R. Wilson, 61, of North Platte, passed away Sept. 1, 2012, at her home.
She was born on July 12, 1951, to William E. and Billie J. (Warden) Griggs at Commerce, Okla.
On Dec. 14, 1968, she was united in marriage to Gerald Lee Wilson at Littleton, Colo.
Sheila was employed at Allen’s Self Service, Taco John’s and most recently at Walmart.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald, of North Platte; two sons, Richard (Nina) Wilson and Josh Wilson, both of North Platte; her mother, Billie, of Colorado; sisters, Jackie Herrick, Pam Still, both of Iowa; twin sister, Sandra Short, Donna Winger, Terry Kotowski, all of Colorado; 11 grandchildren, Damian, Alisha, Deone, Dillion, Yorick, Shawn, Olivia, Zoey, Raven, Mia and Jayden; one great-grandson, Leo; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; and a son, Jimmy Wilson.

Cremation was chosen. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., today and Thursday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel.
Services will be at 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, at Apostolic Worship Center at Fifth and Lincoln in North Platte. Inurnment will follow at Fort McPherson National Cemetery.
