The Colorado Rockies’ Sunday futility continues. The Rockies lost their 12th consecutive Sunday contest in a 4-3 defeat against the Milwaukee Brewers in Denver yesterday afternoon. The Rockies had the tying and winning runs on base in the ninth inning, but Troy Tulowitzki struck out to end the game and secure a four-game series split for the Brewers. Aaron Cook took the loss for the Rockies on the mound, falling to 0-5 on the season after failing to get out of the fifth inning. Jason Giambi homered, his tenth of the season, in the losing cause.
