The North Platte Bulldogs would love to go into district play on a winning note. They head all the way to the Metro in search of their first win, as they take on Bellevue East tonight. The Chieftains are 1-2 and feature a balanced offense led by standout running back Rashad Trimble. North Platte will look to get the ball into the hands of playmaking wide receiver Jack Kenny, who scored two long touchdowns last week. ESPN Radio 1410 has the action from Don Roddy Field tonight, with the pregame show at 6:30 and the kickoff at 7.

Three games, three wins, and hardly a bead of sweat to show for it. The Irish have rolled past their first three opponents, but a fourth win won’t be nearly as easy as they head to Ravenna  tonight. The Bluejays have a standout defense of their own, and nearly stunned Hastings St. Cecelia last week, ultimately falling 7-6. St. Pat’s will pound the rock with Matt Buhrman and look to win a battle of attrition at the line of scrimmage.

After two weeks on the road, the Hershey Panthers play their first home game of the season tonight. Coming off a 14-6 loss at Southern Valley last week, the Panthers would love to bounce back with a win. But standing in their way are the perennially tough Plainsmen of Perkins County, who are off to a 2-0 start after pounding Holyoke (CO) last week.

In a season of growth and learning experiences for the young Sailors, they face another one of Class D1’s top programs tonight as Arapahoe comes to town. The Warriors have routed all three opponents they’ve faced this year. The Sailors will be tasked with digging in their heels and playing more disciplined on defense, and adding to some of the offensive gains they made last week.

The Brady Eagles are winless, and that’s not sitting well with them at all. They see an opportunity to get back on the winning track tonight as they travel to face Sumner-Eddyville-Miller. Expect a physical effort from the Eagles as they look to get off the schneid.

Wallace cruised to wins in their first two games, but fell hard when they ran up against Paxton last week. The Wildcats have dusted themselves off and are looking to get back on the winning track tonight as they travel to Loomis. They hope to re-exert control over the line of scrimmage and get their offense back into fifth gear.
