The Nebraska State Patrol says it has cited 46 juveniles for having alcohol in or near Kearney during Kearney Cruise Nite weekend. The patrol also says three people were arrested for drunken driving. The event drew hundreds of classic cars and thousands of people to Kearney. The special enforcement efforts by the patrol, Kearney police and Buffalo County deputies focused on Saturday’s parade of classic cars and other events. During similar law enforcement efforts in 2010, troopers issued 78 citations for minor in possession and made two arrests for drunken driving.
