A warrant has been issued for a Grand Island woman charged in a crash that killed a motorcyclist. Fifty-four-year-old Domitila Sanchez-Vazquez is charged with felony failure to stop following a personal injury accident and
misdemeanor willful reckless driving in the March 21 accident. Sixty-one-year-old Richard Strickland, also of Grand Island, died a day after the collision. Sanchez-Vazquez was scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Monday in Hall County Count, but she failed to appear, although her attorney was present. Online court records show the bench warrant was issued on Monday.
