Scott Arlan Schoenholz was born to Norman Dee and Carol (Crawford) Schoenholz on August 17, 1961 in Hebron, NE. He died September 17, 2012 in Hebron, NE coming full circle.
Scott graduated from Bruning Public High School with the class of 1979—he was a Bruning Bear and Husker fan to the end.
Scott’s heart was always with the land. His jobs always kept him close to that land he loved—whether he was driving truck or working at the ethanol plant. The greatest time of his life was working on the farm for Dan and Dick Schoenholz.
Scott met and married his best friend, Amy Forrester, on April 29, 2000 in North Platte, NE. They were very blessed with one son, Jacob Andrew in 2001.
Scott lived life and will be missed by so many.
Scott is survived by his wife and best friend, Amy, their son, Jacob; brother Kevin and Vickie Schoenholz; sisters, Kim and Jim Dunker, Sandy and Kurt Muths; mother-in-law, Penny Forrester; father-in-law, Robert Forrester; brother-in-law, Scott and Jody Forrester; 5 nephews; 7 nieces and 4 great-nephews.
Preceding Scott in death were his parents, Dee and Carol Schoenholz.
Funeral services for Scott will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 20, at the United Methodist Church in Bruning, NE. Visitation beginning Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Farmer & Son Funeral Home in Geneva. Interment in the Harmony Cemetery Strang, NE. Memorials in care of the family in lieu of flowers.
