Man Identified In Crash Believed To Be Caused By Deer Collision Near Omaha

Authorities have released the name of a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash after hitting a deer on U.S. Highway 75 in eastern Nebraska.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as 45-year-old George Davis Jr., of Omaha.

Authorities say Davis was headed north to his job in Blair around 6:15 a.m. Thursday when his motorcycle struck a deer crossing the highway on the south end of Washington County. Davis lost control of his motorcycle, which swerved into a guardrail.

Davis was pronounced at the scene.
