Authorities have released the name of a 66-year-old man who died in a fire at his rural home in south-central Nebraska.
The office of Harlan County Attorney Bryan McQuay identified the victim as Edward Holste.
Firefighters were sent to battle a blaze at Holste’s home outside Oxford a little before 7 a.m. on Monday.
Authorities believe Holste died of smoke inhalation. The fire cause is being investigated, but authorities don’t believe it was a result of a crime.
