The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services placed the Hotel Pawnee on probation as punishment for multiple violations, Hotel Pawnee will have one year to fully meet state regulations as well as to hire a consultant. The facility will also have increased monitoring.

According to the Associated Press, the Hotel Pawnee improperly maintained the building, allowed uncertified employees to administer medications, had unsafe food preparation and didn’t have enough certified staff at the facility.
