(POLL)Gay Marriage now legal in New York. Your opinion?

There was marriage fever in New York yesterday. Hundreds of gay couples exchanged vows as New York became the largest and sixth state to allow same-sex weddings.

The first same-sex couple to tie the knot in Manhattan were 77-year-old Phyllis Siegel and 85-year-old Connie Kopelov, who have been living together for 23 years.

The highest profile nuptials took place on the steps of Gracie Mansion and were officiated by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, as two of his staff members — 60-year-old John Feinblatt and 47-year-old Johnathan Mintz — were wed.
