Broncos Will Open Training Camp Wedensday After Lockout Ends

The announcement of the end of the NFL lockout drew a two-word tweet from Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow: “Game on.” Players and owners agreed today to end the five month lockout. Tebow wasn’t the only happy Bronco on Twitter. Rookie linebacker Von Miller wrote on his Twitter page, “Today feels like a holiday for me! Thank God for football!” to which rookie safety Quinton Carter replied, “LET’S GET IT!” The tentative plan for the Broncos is to open the doors to their Dove Valley training facility on Tuesday morning. On Wednesday morning, training camp will officially begin, with new Broncos head coach John Fox holding his first full-squad meetings and players taking their physicals. Even though training camps will open as early as Tuesday, the free agent signing period won’t begin until Friday afternoon.
