Jordan Hooper scored 32 points as the Husker women’s basketball team defeated Nebraska-Kearney 68-38 in their final preseason game on Sunday afternoon at the Devaney Center. The Huskers led by just nine at the break, but they doubled up the Lopers 42-21 in the second half, with Hooper scoring 26 points in the final 20 minutes. Five Husker players were held out of the game by head coach Connie Yori for undisclosed disciplinary reasons. The Huskers open their regular season Friday night against North Carolina A&T.
