Husker volleyball players Hayley Thramer and Meghan Haggerty were honored by the Big Ten Conference for their performances in a pair of Husker wins last weekend. Thramer was named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Week. The junior from Ewing tallied 17 total blocks in victories over Purdue and Indiana. It’s the first time Thramer has won the award. Haggerty took home Freshman of the Week honors for the fourth time this season. She had 17 kills and eight blocks on the weekend.
