Denver Broncos linebacker Wesley Woodyard sat out practice Tuesday to nurse a sprained ankle suffered in Sunday’s win over Tampa Bay. In his fifth year in the NFL, Woodyard has established himself as a starter for the Broncos. He has tallied 100 tackles, four sacks, and three interceptions. Broncos head coach John Fox says he does not expect Woodyard to miss much, if any, time with the injury. Returning to practice Tuesday was defensive end Robert Ayers. He missed Sunday’s game after the death of his father.
