A 44-year-old Gothenburg man accused of sexually assaulting a 22-year-old has pleaded no contest and faces up to five years in prison.

According to local media, Chad Bauer made his plea in Dawson County District Court, pleading no contest for a lesser charge.

Bauer, according to prosecutors, forced a 22-year-old man, who he was giving a ride in his vehicle, to perform oral sex in March.

Bauer is free on $5,000 bail, sentencing is scheduled for February 15th.
