Nebraska’s men’s basketball team received good news about the most highly touted freshman member of their recruiting class of 2012. Josiah Moore, a shooting guard from Norcross, Georgia, passed his state exit exam, making him academically eligible to play for the Huskers this coming season. The 6’5”, 200 pound guard led Norcross High School to a state championship this winter, averaging 11.5 points per contest. He was ranked 61st amongst all shooting guards in the nation according to ESPN. Moore will join three other newcomers in the class of 2012. David Rivers and Corey Hilliard are freshman, and Dylan Talley is a junior college transfer. The fall semester begins in Lincoln on August 22nd. Nebraska will have five scholarships to fill out their recruiting class of 2013 and can begin making recruiting calls this week.
