For the first time ever, the North Platte Community College Knights and Lady Knights will play at McCook’s brand new Events Center tonight. The Indians and Lady Indians await North Platte in the first meetings of the season between the two longtime rivals. The women’s game features a Lady Indians team that has won three straight taking on a Lady Knights squad that has won three and lost three in a rough start to 2013. In the men’s game, the Knights hope to keep their lead in the Region IX South sub-region standings against the Indians, who sit at the bottom of those same standings. The women’s game gets underway at 5:30, with the men’s game to follow at approximately 7:30. ESPN Radio 1410 will have all the action from McCook, with the pregame show starting at 5:15.
