Nebraska picked a bad night to run into a steaming mad Minnesota team. The 23rd-ranked Golden Gophers snapped their four game losing streak in pummeling the Huskers 84-65 in Minneapolis. The Huskers wasted a career-best effort from Ray Gallegos, who poured in 30 points. He’s the first Husker to score 30 in a game since 2008. The Huskers drop to 11-11 and 2-7 in Big Ten play with the loss. They host eleventh-ranked Ohio State on Saturday night.
