The Colorado Rockies defeated the San Diego Padres 6-3 in Cactus League action yesterday afternoon. Jordan Pacheco was the hitting star of the day for the Rockies, collecting two hits and two RBI. Chris Nelson also drove in two runs and Wilin Rosario had three hits. Drew Pomeranz threw two strong innings and Rafael Betancourt pitched a scoreless frame in his spring debut. The Rockies face a Cincinnati Reds split-squad today.
