Hutchinson, KS Police along with the ATF are investigating a possible explosion underneath a vehicle parked outside the Hutchinson Law Enforcement Center.

Police officials say the incident happened shortly after midnight on Thursday.  The area around the vehicle was blocked off while the scene was processed.

The vehicle belonged to a civilian employee of the Law Enforcement center, and police don’t believe the blast was caused by a malfunction with the vehicle.

The explosion caused only minor damage to the vehicle and the investigation is ongoing.
